Is your kid’s classroom a place for high-quality academics or someone else’s political agenda?
The Problem: Over the past several years, parents in Illinois have noticed that public schools have become increasingly politicized at the expense of academic rigor and the diversity of thought.
The Solution: Transparency. Stakeholders – students, parents, caregivers, tax-paying citizens and educators – must be able to see for themselves what’s going on and take action to restore balance to classrooms.
Classroom Champ is a tool created by parents for parents, students, teachers and others concerned about today’s classrooms. You’ll find questionable assignments and other teaching-related material so you can peek inside the classroom and decide if the material meets the standards of high-quality, balanced education that our public schools should be providing for our children.
According to a 2023 Gallup poll, trust in public schools is at an all-time low, in part because schools have veered away from the basics.
Classroom Champ exists to shine a light on instances of sub-standard, politicized instruction and bring a renewed focus on academic excellence and developing critical thinking skills so students can learn to think for themselves.
